Hannes Immigration Services LTD is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Our registered office is 4 One Tree Place, Station Rd, Amersham, Buckinghamshire, HP6 5DN, United Kingdom. We are registered with the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA), registration number P059741, Level 1.

What we collect
When you send an enquiry through this website we collect your name, email address, telephone number and its country code, the country you selected, the visa route you are asking about, how urgently you need to act, and whatever you write in the message box.
We do not collect or store your IP address when you browse this site, and we do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools of any kind.
Special category data
Immigration enquiries often contain information that UK GDPR treats as special category data — details of your health, your family circumstances, your religion, or your ethnic origin — because those things can be relevant to an application. You do not have to include them at the enquiry stage, and our form asks you not to send more personal detail than we need in order to reply.
Where you do send such information, we process it on the basis of your explicit consent and because it is necessary for establishing, exercising or defending legal claims. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.
Why we process it
To answer your enquiry and tell you which immigration routes are open to you; to provide advice and representation if you become a client; and to meet the record-keeping obligations placed on us as an IAA-registered practice.
Our lawful bases are your consent for the initial enquiry, performance of a contract once you instruct us, and our legal obligations as a regulated adviser.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry is transferred to our client management system, which is operated for us by InfraBit IT Solutions and hosted at hannesimmigration.infrabit.co. It acts as our processor and may only use your data on our instructions.
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. It sets no cookies and we send it nothing else about you.
If you book an appointment, the booking widget is served from the same client management system. If you contact us on WhatsApp, that conversation is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy terms, not ours.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing. We will disclose it where the law requires us to, including to the Home Office in the course of an application you have instructed us to make.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and client records for as long as the IAA Code of Standards and the law require us to, and no longer than is necessary. If you would like to know how long we will hold your particular records, please ask and we will tell you.
Where your data is held
Your data is held on servers in the United Kingdom. Where a processor operates outside the UK, we ensure an appropriate safeguard recognised under UK GDPR is in place.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to ask us to delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Some rights are limited where we are required to retain records as a regulated adviser. We will always explain if that applies to your request.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We will update this page when our practice changes, and the date at the top will tell you when it last changed.
